About Fonanza

Fonanza was created with one simple aim: to help Scottish pupils succeed with clear, practical learning resources written by an experienced classroom teacher.

Every guide, practice paper and textbook is designed to explain difficult concepts in a straightforward way, build confidence and help pupils achieve their best in National 5 English.

Hi, I'm Sandra Mills, a secondary English teacher with more than 20 years of classroom experience. Throughout my career I've worked with pupils of all abilities and have seen first-hand the areas they find most challenging. Those experiences have shaped every resource I create.

I created Fonanza because I wanted to make high-quality learning materials available directly to pupils, parents and teachers. Modern publishing means expert classroom resources can reach learners quickly and affordably, without relying on traditional publishing routes.

Over time, Fonanza will continue to grow with new textbooks, practice papers, downloadable revision guides and video lessons designed to support Scottish learners throughout their secondary education.
